Mike Massey has been considered pool's best trick shot artist for almost 30 years. He was voted the best in history by Billiards Digest Magazine. Since the BCA and WPA began sanctioning Artistic Pool in 2000, Mike has won every event in which he has competed except one (losing by only a single point in the 2001 Championships). Mike has also won three of ESPN's Trick Shot Magic competitions and came in third in another.

Mike also had a supporting role in the recent feature film POOLHALL JUNKIES playing "St. Louie Louie", and performed many of the special shots for the other actors in the film.

Phil Capelle is the best-selling author of several instructional books on pool and is a columnist for Pool and Billiard Magazine. In 1995 he founded Billiards Press with the goal of providing students of the game with the finest instructional books on pool.
